The legacy of the Marine Corps has been honed and shaped by the selfless and heroic service of legions of Marines dating back to the very birth of our Nation.  Little did these men and women know that their service and contributions to the Nation and Marine Corps would be honored long after they hung up their uniforms.  Likewise, members and supporters of the Third Marine Division Association, Inc., can help ensure the Association grows through legacy giving or inheritance bequests in order to continue providing educational and scholarship support and public outreach.

Gift to Memorial Scholarship Fund

I give to the THIRD MARINE DIVISION ASSOCIATION, INC., a not-profit 501(c)(4) corporation, located in Lisbon, Ohio, organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, EIN 95-1865400, the sum of $_________ [or _________% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate or description of the specific asset] to be used for the Memorial Scholarship Fund for the benefit of the Association.

1. Determining whether you will like to make a gift of a specific amount or asset or leave a percentage of your estate, and whether you would like to direct your gift to a specific program of the Association or leave your gift unrestricted, allowing it to be used for the Association's most pressing needs.
2. Taking the above bequest language to your estate-planning attorney to include in your will or living trust.
3. Contacting the Association to inform us of your gift so we can thank you and ensure your bequest will be fulfilled in the manner you intend.

The Third Marine Division Association, Inc. has existed since the end of World War II.  The Marines and FMF Sailors who follow you in the Association will benefit from your foresight and your generosity.
